Gina Wilson is a registered Naturopath and Medical Herbalist working with children to improve their overall health via education, nutrition and practical help tailored to meet the child’s specific issues.
With a background in teaching young children and specifically children with special needs, Gina has the advantage of understanding the potential of children if they are nurtured well and are given optimal nutrition to meet their needs. Gina has a special interest and experience in working with children with Autism, PANS, ADHD and related disorders.
Gina is experienced in implementing appropriate, nutrient rich diets. Where needed she guides people through specific eating plans such as GFCF, LOW HISTAMINE ETC
Gina currently works in private practice as a Naturopath at The Connection in Silverdale Auckland http://www.theconnection.co.nz/ . Gina also has many clients across NZ and worldwide whom she works with via Zoom.
Gina works closely with colleagues including Holistic GPs, Chiropractors, Homeopaths and other Naturopaths to ensure clients are supported and have the input they require.
Gina has spoken at many events including the Gluten and Allergy free show, MINDD seminar http://mindd.org, ACNEM (Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine) and the Biomedical seminars in Auckland which she also organises and runs. Gina is passionate about learning and invests a lot of time and financial resources into staying up to date with current research. She regularly attends the MINDD conference in Australia to share information and enthusiasm with colleagues from around the world, all of whom have a passionate interest in integrative healthcare.
Gina appreciates the hard work people put in to regaining the health of their children. She is committed to sharing the highs and lows and works hard to support families choices and to help them overcome hurdles in their way.
Gina specialises in pediatrics. She no longer sees adults in clinic as patients.
